It is certainly important to identify the facilities which your website will actually need. A basic blog site, like Pokerblog.com for example, will generally have fewer requirements than a full on gaming site, or a more commercial page. You don't want to end up paying out for facilities that you don't need, and so it is a good idea to choose a plan which is specifically tailored to your individual requirements. Many hosting services don't ask you the important questions to get you what you want or need. Usually they want to "up sell" so you end up with a pretty powerful setup, that you don't even want, and you pay for it I know! I've been there.
